Bow Wow says no to sex

Rapper/actor Bow Wow was caught offguard on the set of TV hit "Entourage" when he realised he'd have to strip for a sex scene.

The 21-year-old hitmaker didn't realise he'd be getting naked on camera when he signed up to star in an upcoming episode of the US show, and he's concerned what his fans will think of the revealing onscreen moment.

He says, "It was crazy because I didn't know. I was on set and they had like a robe in my trailer and I'm like, 'So what is this all about?' and they said, 'You have a sex scene today.' I'm like, 'A what?'

"I'm sure that my fans and the girls are going to get a kick out of it... but I felt crazy. I was just thinking, 'Man, what are my fans gonna say when they see this, because they never see me like this.'"

Lost virginity at age of 14?

Reg Jones, now 30, has been revealed as the man who the "Gimme More" singer lost her virginity to at the age of 14.

The jilted lover - who Britney dumped for singer Justin Timberlake - admits he still thinks of the pop star and keeps a picture of his ex wearing a black bra.

He says: "We were madly in love and Britney was very passionate. I'd often stay over at her house and we'd fool around like any young couple. Although there was a couple of years difference in our age, it didn't seem to matter. She was everything a boy could have wanted - great-looking, always laughing and liked by everyone".

Amy back to heavy drinking

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is back to drinking. She sparked concerns when she ordered 48 bottles of Jack Daniels recently.

Amy was performing at a concert and she asked organisers for two crates of alcohol, reports thesun.co.uk .

“It's common for artistes to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive. But organisers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniel's, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short stay," a source said.

"Everyone was really excited about getting Amy to perform here, and naturally there were now fears that she was planning something wild. Whiskey is better than heroin - but not 48 bottles of the stuff,” added the source.

UK watchdog snaps at gun-toting Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie might ooze Hollywood glamour but if she's armed and looking dangerous, then the actress is not welcome in Britain.

Britain's media watchdog, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), has banned two posters of Jolie promoting the film Wanted after upholding complaints that the images of the gun-toting actress glamorised the use of guns and violence.

One poster showed the actress crouching and holding a gun pointing upwards while the other showed her lying on her back across a car's bonnet, brandishing guns.

Some also complained that the posters for the high-tech action thriller co-starring James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman were unsuitable to be seen by children.

"We considered, that because the ads featured a glamorous actress, action poses, several images of or related to guns and aspirational text, they could be seen to glamorise the use of guns and violence," the ASA said in an online ruling.

The film's maker Universal Pictures defended the posters, saying the style of the adverts reflected the film's comic book roots and provided examples of other ads they believed were more graphic and less stylised than their posters.

Universal Pictures also said that the posters were not placed near schools and appeared in the London Underground system which did not have a high proportion of children.

But the ASA ruling, handed down on Wednesday, seemed to come a bit late.

Universal, owned by General Electric Co, said the posters for the film released in Britain and the United States in June were no longer appearing and they had no plans for future use.

Michael Jackson: 50 and not so fabulous

The gates of Michael Jackson's Neverland were locked shut this week. The funfair was idle and the animals from the private zoo were long gone.

As the former King of Pop was set to mark his 50th birthday on Friday it seemed fitting that the extravagant estate built as his homage to a fantasy of childhood remained empty - a site irrevocably tied to his financial and legal troubles, a symbol of a strange star's downfall.

This was meant to be Jackson's refuge - a place where he could play with children who were the age he was when he became a professional singer at 11. His goal seemed to be to recover that lost childhood. But it turned sour.

He was accused of two instances of child molestation at Neverland, in 1993 and 2003. Although he settled the first case without any admission of wrongdoing and was cleared of all charges after a media-saturated trial in the second case, the ordeals wreaked havoc on his already fragile psyche and turned him into a freak in the world's celebrity sideshow.

So there were no parties there this week, no stadium concerts like Madonna - the Queen of Pop who turned 50, 13 days before Jackson - and celebrated while on her wildly lucrative Sweet and Sticky world tour.

Like Madonna, Jackson turned the 1980s pop world on its head, selling more than 100 mn copies of the album Thriller in 1982, and introducing new dance moves, new sounds and a new level of mega-stardom.

Jackson has blamed his problems on the challenges of being a child star - one of nine musical siblings and the star of the Jackson Five long before he reached puberty. He had monster hits like ABC and I'll Be There with his siblings, but changed the entire industry with hits such as Thriller , Off the Wall, Billie Jean and Beat It.

These songs redefined the modern music video and forced MTV to start showing black performers, ensuring the success of the fledgling music station and paving the way for the acceptance of rap and hip- hop as mainstream musical styles.

But gradually Jackson created less hits and more tabloid headlines thanks to his odd behaviour and plastic surgery. His two- year marriage to Lisa-Marie Presley sparked intense speculation. Then he married his nurse Debbie Rowe, who became the mother of his two older children. The mother of his third child has never been identified.

Whereas once he was widely seen as the best dancer in the entertainment world, his most recent public appearance saw him confined to a wheelchair on a Las Vegas shopping trip with his three children Prince I, 11, Prince II, 6, and daughter Paris, 10.

He was wearing slippers and pyjamas, and the ever-present facial mask that either shields him from pollution or hides the damage that excessive plastic surgery has wrought on his face.

Talk about a comeback has been floating around for years, as Jackson juggles huge debts, he remains one of the most intriguing celebrities in the world. The most persistent rumours suggest a series of residency concerts at a Vegas venue.

Other reports involve the construction of a Thriller casino and entertainment venue, or Cirque du Soleil show based on his roster of hits. But deal after deal has reportedly fallen through because of Jackson's weak mental state and inability to function normally.

Jackson appeared briefly for a live performance at the World Music Awards in London in November 2006 for which he was reportedly paid $4 mn. But he was two-and-a-half hours late and only sang a few bars of his charity hit, We Are the World, before the sound was cut off and he was booed from the stage.

It was left to young star Chris Jones to wear a trademark red leather jacket, sing Thriller, and pay tribute to an artiste still regarded as one of the most influential music makers in the last 50 years.

Movie Review: Sex And The City, brand orgy
by ibnlive.com

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a fan of the show, but I'll admit I've enjoyed reruns of Sex And The City every time I've caught one by accident. Of course what I think of the show doesn't matter here. The truth is, ladies everywhere have been waiting for this, and now it's finally here.

To be entirely honest, the Sex And The City movie doesn't actually feel like a cohesive feature at all. At two hours and twenty-five odd minutes, it feels more like a string of episodes slapped back-to-back, if you ask me. The girls are back for their big screen outing, but I'm disappointed to report, the fun's missing from this adventure.

Sex columnist-turned-author Carrie Bradshaw is planning a fancy wedding with Mr Big, but he's having second thoughts. Cynical, razor-sharp lawyer Miranda is having trouble trusting her husband again after he confesses to having had a casual sexual encounter. Nymphomaniac Samantha is missing her promiscuous lifestyle even as she's settled into a monogamous relationship with her actor boyfriend in LA. And ever the optimist Charlotte is enjoying a happy domestic life with her husband Harry and their adopted daughter Lily, but has never quite given up the hope of getting pregnant.

Now much of the show's success and popularity came from its effortless humour, the clever one-liners delivered by its characters, and their ability to laugh at themselves and at each other in the most delicate circumstances. The problem with the film is the humour's more slapstick than smart — there's a horny dog, a character who shits in her pants, and a scene involving Japanese food as a sex aid. The script fails in interweaving all the characters' storylines, and some characters simply don't get enough material to chew on.

On the upside, say hello to Jennifer Hudson who makes an inspired entry into the story as Carrie's personal assistant, adding a twenty-something perspective for female characters who're now in their forties. Also — and all you ladies , listen to this clearly — it's a mad orgy of designer brands; handbags, heels and wedding gowns, they're all there! The film doesn't cover much ground sadly, but like the show it ends up being about the bond these women share.

I'm going with two out of five and an average rating for Sex And The City: The Movie. Perhaps my opinion really doesn't count here — after all I'll never understand what all the fuss over that new Louis Vuitton handbag is all about.

Rating: 2 / 5 (Average)

Mallika Sherawat in another Hollywood film
By Bollywood Hungama

Bollywood siren, Mallika Sherawat, who earlier acted in an international production, The Myth, alongside Jackie Chan will now star in an American film called The Aquarian Gospel.

The film is based on Jesus Christ's life (especially his early years) and will be directed by Australian filmmaker, Drew Heriot, who earlier directed the smash hit docu-feature, The Secret.

There has been a belief that Christ, between the age of 13 yrs and 30 yrs, traveled through India, Tibet, Persia, Greece and Egypt. Mallika would be playing the role of Saraswati, one of Yeshua's (Jesus) loyal friends whom he meets while he travels through India.

Interestingly, Mallika even played an Indian princess from the period era in The Myth which bombed at the box-office. In fact, Mallika's appearance after all the hue-and- cry was just a blink and a miss kind of a role.

Well, let's see if Madame Sherawat has a better and bigger role this time around.
